AUCTION SHADOW ROLES STILL AVAILABLE – 20 PIP

The committee leads listed below are in their final year. Sign up to shadow an outgoing team member this year to learn the role and prepare to take over for next year’s auction. The hours listed will be earned both this year as a shadow and next year when you assume the position. If interested, please email Auction Co-Chairs at 2025olsmauction@gmail.com for interest or questions.

Sponsorship Lead – 20 PIP Hours

Administrative remote role. Occasional conference calls with Co-Chairs
Call on previous sponsors, enter details of sponsor’s donation into the website, collect creative for the program
Call on new potential sponsors

Auction Co-Chair Role (Usually shared among 2 people) – 20 PIP Hours each

Board Involvement

Serve as a Mom’s & Dad’s Club Board Member & Hold a voting position
Attend monthly board meetings (at least one Co-Chair must attend)

Leadership & Planning

Collaborate to select the auction theme, set the auction date, and secure the location
Serve as Project Manager for the auction, overseeing committee leads
Establish timelines, milestones, and accountability across committees
Serve as the primary point person(s) for all things auction

Committee Oversight

Recruit, organize, and support committee leads
Hold weekly meetings during auction season to track progress and resolve issues

Event Execution

Oversee all final preparations leading up to auction day
Provide on-site leadership during the event to ensure smooth execution
Support post-event wrap-up, including thank-yous and transition notes for future chairs

5 WAYS TO EARN AUCTION PIP

PIP Requirement Reminder: Each family is required to complete 5 PIP hours related to the auction. PIP hours can be earned by donating auction items ($40 donated = 1 PIP hour). Any auction PIP hours earned beyond the required 5 hours will count toward the 20 total PIP hours required for the school year. To track your hours, you must create a My Impact Page

This is a great way to showcase your business while earning PIP hours!

Don’t have a business -ask a local business, relative or your own employer! If you sell a sponsorship or advertisement, you receive the PIP hours. Click on the link to obtain request letter and list of sponsorships.

PIP hours can be earned by donating approved auction items ($40 donated = 1 PIP hour).

3. Attend the Auction

Volunteer Opportunities will be made available for day/night of auction and post auction. Coming Thursday, February 5^th at 8:00 PM on MyImpact.
